Kid Sundance

Kid Sundance has been a household name in the music-scene for quite some time. As far as memories go, his first digging excercise started in 1983 attending a flea market with his grandpa. The 1st Brass Construction lp in the pocket! He bought a Roland TR505 in 1984 when he was 14 years old. A Technics SL-1200 to replace an Erres (!) in 1987, and eventually the EMU SP1200 and Ensoniq ASR 10 samplers replacing the Amiga computer he bought in 1991. He is the founder of Fair Deal Records, member of Boomoperators, and worked with various artists like Dudley Perkins, Phat Kat, Xplastaz and Busy Bee. In 2008 he released music on the well-known Jazzy Sport label. His solid, yet experimental, studiowork is caracterized by the skillful use of samples, live instruments and vintage machinery. As a mix DJ, he's known to blend warm, groovy music: from Jazz to Boogie, from Hip Hop to Afro and back to Brasil via NL!
